For those of you unaware, this weekend is the annual Gilmore's Museum Vintage Swap Meet and bike show. Saturday and Sunday is the swap meet and Sunday will be the addition of the bike show.
This is our 14th year as a sponsor for the show. In our booth we have on display our Denper sidecar rig, a restored 1974 Montesa Cota 247, the Mongrel (a 1986 ATC 250R converted to a two-wheeled hooligan bike), a 1969 CT90, an SL350, and a1974 CR250.

Now just for the *H* of it I decided to take advantage of the state and show rules which w declare any vehicle 25yrs or older is a vintage vehicle. So I fired up my newly declared bike bike and rode it out to the show.. Sohere is a pic of me on my vintage 2001 Aprilia RST1000.

Time to thin the heard a little bit
Couple of bikes up for sale. First, age before beauty, 1972 Honda CB450. With close to 16k on it. In overall very good condition and ready to ride.
Now the beauty, my personal bike, a 2002 Suzuki Volusia Intruder. Around 39k on it. In ver good to excellent condition. Probably the most comfortable long distance cruiser I'v ever have ridden, more than any of my Goldwings. Hate to see it go, but medical condition makes it difficult for me to ride it much any more.

Last Saturday was the annual Galesburg Day to-do.Small town parade, food trucks, garage sales, etc. As always we bring out some fine bikes to display for the crowds. Biggest hit was the Ukrainian Dnepr military sidecar. A good time was had by all. Even picked up several new customer wanting to bring their bikes in. Oh, and SLAVA UKRAINE

Here's a rather rare Honda, a 1986 Honda TLR 200 Reflex. Its street legal twin-shock trials bike. While you can legally ride it on the road, where it really shines and is an absolute blast to ride is off road, especially on single track trails.

Our friend and fellow bike addict, Steve Lambert,is thinning his herd and offering this little gem up for sale. Its not showroom new condition,but is in very good overall condition. the odometer shows 11xx miles. I can vouch for the mileage and condition. Steve is the 2nd owner and I happen to be the 1st and original owner of the bike. It has been ridden, but not abused,and been well maintained and properly cared for.

Signs of spring.... flowers coming out to bloom, trees having buds ... and winter rebuilds finally coming out for test rides. Yeah, its a dirty part of the job and we have to draw straws. Who has to ride the Kawi triple and who is stuck riding the 850 Norton Commando.
