One of the best pieces of advice I've ever read.
Our New Year usually begins with phrases like,
"This year, I'm going to be a better friend, neighbor, leader, parent and spouse."
But as the annual challenges, busy schedules and fatigue set in, we find ourselves reverting back to our old self. A lack of patience, understanding, grace and poise tend to find their way in our heart...and our actions respond accordingly.
"I can't believe he would do such a thing!"
"They have no idea what they're doing!"
"She better not do that again!"
Without stopping to think about "their" situation, we react.
1. Give yourself some grace. We're all human.
2. Think about those words, "heart," "temper," and "touch."
Allow them to be vehicles of love and understanding today.
Lone Oak will always be a space used to travel in those vehicles.
Remain Encouraged.
