LEE HARTMAN GETS IT DONE!

Congratulations are in order for a very hard-fought win today!!! Mr. Hartman is having an extraordinary weekend in his Carrier Services Group Dodge Challenger Drag Pak, and in addition to resetting the national record AGAIN with an INSANE 7.511-second pass in his Stanfield Racing Engines-powered Dodge, the win light turned on in his lane in the delayed Dodge Great Lakes Nationals final round over Stanfield Racing Engines teammate David Janac.

This very special victory marks Hartman’s first Flexjet Factory Stock Showdown win in his fourth final round, and he sweetened the deal by solidifying a second-consecutive start from the No. 1 position for Midwest Nationals eliminations. Please join us in congratulating Lee, his crew, and the entire Hartman family on a job well done!

"I've had good rounds there and made some good passes, and it's a super-nice facility," said Davd Janac, driver of the Janac Brothers Racing Cobra Jet powered by Stanfield Racing Engines and the driver who enters the event No. 4 in the championship standings.

"Where I'm sitting in the points right now, it's more of a 'see what we can learn for next year' rather than trying to chase the championship…. But we definitely want one of those Diamond Wallys."

Caldwell, Texas-based Janac started racing around 1973, took time off for family and business, then returned an incredible four decades after he first got the bug. Janac's scorecard includes a long awaited victory at the Bristol race in 2024 as well as two final-round appearances in Gainesville (2020 and earlier this season), along with two more finals which both took place in 2024 — the spring race in Las Vegas and later that year in Brainerd.

Welcome to St. Louis and the first day of the 15th annual NAPA Auto Parts NHRA Midwest Nationals! It’s a big weekend for the Stanfield Racing Engines team for a whole stack of reasons, including a shot at TWO of those NHRA 75th Anniversary Diamond Wallys for our Factory Stock Showdown racers.

The rained out semifinals and final round from Martin will be run along with qualifying for the St. Louis event this weekend. The Martin semis will pit Stanfield Racing Engines-powered Drag Pak campaigner Lee Hartman, the Martin No. 1 qualifier, and his Carrier Services Group entry against fellow Dodge driver Raymond Nash, and on the other side of the ladder, it’ll be Drag Pak racer David Davies vs. our very own David Janac in the Janac Brothers Racing Cobra Jet Mustang.

In Midwest Nationals competition, Ricky Hord will be looking to defend the title he won here last year in the Maximum Effort Racing Team COPO. Stanfield Racing Engines customers are also populating Super Stock and Stock here at World Wide Technology Raceway, all laser-focused on that beautiful trophy.

The race in Martin, Mich., was the first time many of us had a chance to visit this cool and historic facility, but for Lane Gortney — an important part of the crew on Doug Duell's Stanfield Racing Engines-powered DLD Motorsports Dodge Challenger Drag Pak — returning to US 131 Motorsports Park was like coming home.

"I grew up racing here with my dad [Ryan Gortney, of The Wheelie Wagon fame]," said Lane. "We bracket raced, and my dad did really well in points here. He would run his wheelstander at all the big shows, and that was awesome. I'm 30 now, so it's really cool to have an NHRA race at this track and be working on a car — it's kind of like a full-circle moment."
