Meet the Leggetts. The Leggetts own a large construction company in Nashville. They work hard and they like to play hard.
Their 100 foot houseboat on Dale Hollow Lake was supposed to be a place for friends and family to relax and play.

But when their houseboat became more work and less play, they contacted Mike from Slip House USA. Together David and Mike designed a custom 60 x 19 foot Slip House that sleeps 17.

Now they spend their weekends their way.

We are often asked if we deliver. The answer is yes—we deliver quality.

Based in Gainesboro, Tennessee, Slip House USA builds custom floating homes and can deliver them almost anywhere. Our previous deliveries include locations across North Carolina, Kentucky, Indiana, Minnesota, and Tennessee.

Most recently, we delivered a 55 x 16-foot custom two-bedroom Slip House to Park Point Marina on Lake Superior in Duluth, Minnesota. It will soon be featured as part of a premium vacation experience at a popular local marina and hotel. If you have never visited downtown Duluth, I highly recommend it for the excellent food, nightlife, and fishing.

This one was almost completely custom from the floats up, and we couldn’t be more proud of how it turned out. We’re just as proud of the family who bought it, amazing people who love spending their weekends making memories with their kids and grandkids.

It’s never boring at the production facility. 🔨🏡

We’re always building a different section of the SlipHouse design, so about the time you start getting tired of one part of the process, it’s time to move on to the next. Honestly, it’s kind of nice that no two days are ever the same.
