Gaffney, SC - - Elizabeth B. Allen,96, of 303 E. Rutledge Avenue, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of the late Clarence Lee Allen and daughter of the late Andrew Blanton and Janie Wilson Blanton. She was a graduate of Gaffney High School and Limestone College, retired from the Kings Mountain School District, and a member of Limestone Presbyterian Church for over 60 years.

Surviving is her daughter, Lisa Allen Clyde (Alan) of Gaffney; a granddaughter, Elziabeth Teller; a grandson, Rhyon Teller; bonus grandchildren, Justin & Chance Clyde. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Wallace, Rush & Gary Blanton, a sister, Virginia “Jennie” McCraw, a niece and numerous nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, March 31, 2025 at Limestone Presbyterian Church with Dr. Lynn Miller officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the Church Fellowship Hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Limestone Presbyterian Church, 109 S. Limestone Street, Gaffney, SC 29340 or Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
