A Message from Monument RV Park ❤️

As another Fourth of July weekend comes to a close, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who chose to spend the holiday with us. We hope you had a safe, relaxing, and memorable weekend exploring the Grand Valley and creating lasting memories.

Monument RV Park remains open, and we continue to closely monitor the wildfire activity in the surrounding region. While firefighters have made encouraging progress on several of the fires, conditions can change quickly, and we remain in close contact with local resources to ensure we have the latest information. At this time, Grand Junction, Fruita, and Colorado National Monument remain open to visitors, though some recreation areas near the fire remain closed and Stage 2 fire restrictions are in effect.

Our hearts are with the families, friends, and fellow firefighters mourning the loss of three brave wildland firefighters who gave their lives protecting our communities. Their courage, dedication, and selfless service will never be forgotten. We also continue to keep the injured firefighters and everyone working tirelessly on the front lines in our thoughts.

To every firefighter, first responder, emergency personnel, and volunteer—thank you. Your commitment to protecting our communities, our public lands, and everyone who calls Western Colorado home is deeply appreciated.

Thank you again to all of our guests for spending your holiday weekend with us. We wish everyone safe travels home and look forward to welcoming you back to Monument RV Park soon. ❤️

🇺🇸 Fire up the grill and celebrate Independence Day with us at Monument RV! 🌭🍔🎆

We'll provide all the fixings for hamburgers and hot dogs—just bring your favorite BBQ side dish to share. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and settle in for an evening of great food, great company, and the annual Fruita fireworks show at dusk!
