Tip of the day, from Blue Mountain Fluid Exchange and Brake Service LLC.
Tip #1
Image #1
Whenever you remove your tire for whatever reason, its best to always clean the crud and corrosion from the part that comes in contact with the rotor. Installing without cleaning could potentially cause vibrations from high spots not seating properly flush against each other's surface.
Tip #2

When doing brakes, make sure to clean out all components thoroughly. I use gasoline as a degreaser with a wire brush and a regular bristle brush to reach all the nooks and crannys. Because a clean rotor will help avoid build up material depositing onto the rotors or pads causing most of the squeaks many complain about.
