2009 Dodge Journey 3.5l v6 customer complaint was a no‐start. 1st heard it crank over and it sounded uneven. Found the plugs and coils removed so I re-installed them. No change engine still sounded uneven. So I proceed to pull out the Verus to do a relative compression test. But it was hot outside and it was taking forever to boot. So I had to use my Vantage
A little more difficult to do a relative compression test with an amp probe had to use my ac coupler from my Uscope. Used the fuel injector as a sync and found low(er) compression on cylinders 2 and 5. Hooked up a compression gauge and found 0 psi on the front 3 cylinders I could access. (Other 3 were under the intake). Advised customer to have a shop teardown the motor due to my company not getting knee deep in an engine.
