The Ford Focus team has won 5 championships. Tim Skoglund won 2 championships back to back 2006 & 2007 which consisted of 12 main event wins. Cody Gerhardt won 3 championships in 2010, the Western Pavement, Norhtern Pavemnet, and Southern Pavement. Western Speed Racing has now won the 2011 Western Ford Focus championship, and 2nd place in the nation. The team also won 2 Sprint championships in 20

04 & 2005 with Tony Hunt, & Michael Lewis. And Nick Faas won the Midget Western States Championship in 2008 in his rookie year. The team faciliates young up and coming drivers, and provides full race ready cars to further their career. We’ve spent many years racing at Turkey Night, God Speed Irwindale Speedway. Made some lasting memories with family and friends.
This year we’re spending Thanksgiving at Silver State Winter Nationals in Las Vegas with over 300 quarter midgets drivers traveling from across the country. Weston Hickman Racing will be participating in his first Winter Nationals, good luck buddy🏁

Your hard charger for the weekend at indoors! This guy went from the D main and transferring all the way to the A main for Jr honda! Started 9th and we think finished about 7th or so, they haven’t posted the official results. Can’t express how proud we are of Weston for driving his butt off today, and making TWO A mains at indoors which is a HUGE accomplishment! He transferred in Jr Animal from the B to the A main, started 9th and finished in 8th. We can’t thank everyone enough for their help this weekend; Dustin Waber, John Nervo, the Downey family and many more! This is all possible with the support from our main sponsor Western Speed Racing. Really looking forward to the next indoor race in 2 weeks! 🏁👍🏻
