7’s Day 2026 hits different at the shop.
A massive shoutout to everyone who came out to our SakeBomb Garage 7’s Day Meet to celebrate the legendary RX-7 platform! The bays and parking lot were packed with some of the cleanest rotaries in NorCal, the energy was unmatched, and the food and drinks were flowing all night. 🍔🥤
From pristine OEM restorations to full track-spec weapons, the rotary community showed out in full force. Thank you guys for keeping the braplatatat culture alive and well. 🤝🔊.

Another rotor joins the family. We’ve officially added this RX-8 to our R&D lineup to start pushing the boundaries of what this chassis can do. We just wrapped up initial track testing to establish our baseline data, and now the real work begins. 📉🛡️
We’re taking everything we’ve learned from years of perfecting the Nc Miata platforms and applying it to future parts for the RX-8. From advanced suspension dynamics to heavy-duty cooling upgrades, we’re building a lineup that will redefine the platform.

Mazda gave the 255hp FD a passenger grab handle. But when they bumped the power to 280hp for the JDM Spirit R and RZ models, they realized passengers needed serious bracing—so they built an OEM footrest. 📐🇯🇵
The catch? They only made them for RHD cars. Since most stateside FDs are putting down way more than 280hp, we engineered the SakeBomb Garage LHD and RHD Passenger Foot Rest.
Modeled directly after the rare Spirit R design, it brings that ultra-clean, functional JDM styling interiors. Lightweight aluminum, textured for grip, and standard in OEM Grey or limited-run Wrinkle Black. 💎🛠️.
