🔴 New machines pushing coolant 🔴
Customer brought us their brand new 2026 Renegade 1000R XXC for coolant issues. (This can apply to any Powersports machine). With mass production increase and quality control not being what it should be, we have seen little things like this be more common on newer units. After diagnosing the machine for literally 2 minutes, the coolant reservoir pressure cap was faulty and yes, on a brand new machine with less than 5 hours. What we notice is the either the spring for the plunger isn’t long enough, or the seal on the bottom doesn’t sit tight enough in the bottom of the reservoir to seal it thus allowing coolant to push right out soon as you start riding. Luckily, super simple and cheap fix! We threw a pressure cap on it off another unit on it to test and boom, problem solved. So if you’re having issues with your unit pushing coolant out and you verify it’s properly filled, system has no air, no headgasket issues, then try another pressure cap!!!
