This week will be brutal. Without insulation on the shop roof it will be 130+ F in here, so I'm working smart. Weld in the morning and do electronics in the afternoon.

I'm almost caught up so probably working on some oddball stuff like 310 Waukesha before Fall arrives. I also have a big Continental that's been pushed off too long, and DT466 parts.

Hey, at least the crops are healthy. We've been getting steady rain in between this heat. Stay cool and healthy everyone!

My cell is 920.810.0946 if you are fixin' to bump your game up.

I am starting a new project which was popular in our early C5 days. Universal pre-built wire harnesses!

Everything needed to start fresh will be included. Master shut-off switch, fused relay box, enough wires to install popular accessories, and ignition/start panel.

If you are building or renovating something right now, and are interested in working with me, give me a call.

I think popular tractors like Deere or Farmall would be practical along with basic trail vehicles like our Jeeps. If you are running our ignition then the touch screen dash makes sense. But basic vehicles like our Allis that use stock points and have no instrumentation can also benefit. Anything is possible!

It was great to meet a new customer this week. He purchased a vehicle with our ignition and ordered a few spare items.

One thing I mentioned is using a sacrificial spark plug wire with some of the protective sheathing removed. This allows the "actual " timing to be synchronized with the ECU.

As some of you know, modern quality built plug wires work so well our timing lights can't read correctly! This little trick has worked for me. Stay cool 😎

Although we don't typically have complete systems sitting on the shelf (except safety switches occasionally), I am building a few ignition kits right now.

Interest is high because people are starting to realize they use this technology in their daily driver. It's not experimental, it's not hand built, it's not even difficult to install. 80% of our customers aren't confident in their computer skills, but that's rarely an issue.

One skill EVERYONE needs to improve on is wiring things. That's why I'll continue posting about cool products as we discover them.

We use this to illustrate how to install a switch with indicator light. Mostly it's for data logging or activating the secondary ignition table for our C5 Performance systems.

Because the sensor power supply is 5v (industry standard) I use a 6 volt light. For any 12 volt items you might have (ignition, coil, fuel pump, water pump, or electric fan) you can use any 12v rated bulb.

Having an indicator light is helpful and safer. Let me know if you have questions regarding this!

Although initial tests of our revised "DC" style system for six cylinder engines was successful, I've focused on filling orders and building other things. I will be building at least one more 310 Waukesha system before Fall.

I'm ordering parts for the rest of our "summer" production. If you haven't heard from me please give us a call 920.810.0946 and we'll confirm your order.

All intake-exhaust systems include port matched gaskets. Headers start at $1200 plus shipping.

Have a fantastic day 😊

Hopefully everyone survived the celebrations without losing any fingers or toes. We chose to work on projects but I did sneak in some muzzleloader time.

I am unapologetically proud to be American! I remember the 200th as a child and couldn't imagine being old enough to celebrate 250th.... but here I am!!!

God bless this beautiful country, where we are free to run our own companies, argue with strangers on the internet, and hopefully later today shoot some muzzleloaders.

For all my British friends, no bad feelings. You are welcome to visit us anytime for cold beer and plenty of food. Love ya 😘
