Here is acarbon fiber engine containment pan i made for my 95 beretta. Diapers are fine once installed but a pain to take off and put on in the beginning and end of the season. I make pans for a lot of people but never made one for myself, until now.
Man how i love to create stuff

2007 Yamaha Road Star 1700.
Very clean bike with low milage. Just put new plugs in it and flushed tbe fuel system with fresh gas ethanol free.. It has been sitting garaged for the last 3 years. Runs mint now. Looking to sell it but not give it away.
I will recheck it next time I'm over but I think it had 2700 miles on it.
$5,000 or best reasonable offer.

I haven't posted in a while that doesn't mean I haven't been busy.
Picked this gem up a couple weeks ago. Its a 1998 sea doo gtx limited with the 958cc motor.
It's been sitting for 9 years. The complete fuel system had to be gutted and cleaned with all new lines and shut off valve. Pulled the carbs apart and rebuilt them. Change the jet pump oil and cleaned all the mold from the insides. The previous owner left the drain plugs in and there was a foot of water inside it and all sorts of mold. It has 120 hours on it. After 20 hours of cleaning and stuff it runs. I need to find water somewhere to test the rest of it.
Also looking for a rear seat if anyone has a connection for stuff like this.

This thing has some really cool stuff. ARC switch panel and relay kit. Great piece to work with. Light weight steering column and wheel with sfi cert quick release hub. Brake booster delete. Mega 450 delay box. simple reliable 6al with a 2 step rev limiter. Egt sensor with play back.
I Flush mounted the tach. And a set of pro comp gauges and shift light tucked where the original gauges were. All the wiring is gm weather pack connectors and labeled shrink tube on all the wires. Rounded out with a big boy 18 inck kirky seat and a 5 gallon fuel cell in the rear. Wait till you see the art work going on the battery box and fuel cell box. Next for me is to start wiring up the engine bay and front lights. I'm thinking of relocating the headlight harness behind the fender.

While we were out on our 50 state adventure this was home and still will be for another 8 months or so. While on our trip the temps would climb higher than I would like on long hill climbs especially the 11,000 foot ones. It took over 9 hours to get the cooling pack out of the bus but I did find the Lower corner weeping. Ordered up a new one and sent the charge air cooler out for a pressure test. While the ac is discharged I pulled off the lines at the compressor where there was a sign of a leak only to find some previous technician had torn the oring putting the line on.
