All rules for the 2027 season are now posted at raceangola.com

Front Wheel Drives: We will allow aluminum bodies for 2027. They must remain stock appearing!!!! Drivers running aluminum bodies will have a 100 pound weight penalty and loss of 1% left side weight.

Late Models: After the race the weight rule will now be 2750 pounds

Modified Drivers there will be no rule changes for 2027

ALL drivers please note we will no longer offer 1 week to "fix it". Any driver who does not pass tech will be a DQ and have a loss of all points and pay for the night. We want to be consistent and fair to everyone!!!

Also we have made some changes to the General Rules section and encourage everyone to take a look and ask any questions you may have!

We look forward to one of the biggest and best seasons in the history of the Angola Motorsport Speedway!!!

Street Stock Drivers: 2027 Rule Updates

Changes:
Spoiler will now be allowed to be 6 inches

Bert and Brinn Transmissions will now be allowed

Slotted / Drilled Rotors will now be allowed

Hornet Drivers: 2027

Here are some minor changes to note for 2027

This is a fun entry-level class to help get new racers into the sport. We want to do our part to keep the class competitive and equal.

Please note that the deck lid / truck must remain on the car and stock.

Any driver who "out classes the field" will be asked to add weight by our tech director and / or race director. Drivers may also be asked to move up to the FWD class.

We will work on setting a break out time for the class early in 2027

We will no longer give one week to fix any issues in tech. All drivers will be responsible for making sure your car fits the rules.

Drivers, we are beyond excited for 2027 at the Angola Motorsport Speedway. Rules will be posted soon with just minor changes! We cannot thank you enough for your support, and our team is already gearing up for what could be the biggest and best season ever!

Reminder to get your ticket order forms in for the banquet coming up fast on November 14th. The deadline is October 31st to order your tickets!

10/1/26 Angola Motorsport Speedway Update.. Reminder to the Drivers, the 2026 Celebration of Champions Awards Banquet. Date, Time, & Location has been set. Saturday November 14th!! The Celebration of Champions Awards Banquet Ticket Order Form is posted on the AMS Website.

Ticket Orders are Due by October 31st!! Please reach out if you are unsure about your eligibility, consideration is being made due to 3 rainout dates in 2026. DRIVER is Required to be present to receive any and all awards (guidelines posted on website, Driver Info tab, under Season Info).
