One of the best parts of this job? Getting to see the cool stuff our customers bring through the doors. 🔧🔥

We work on a lot of daily drivers, family vehicles, work trucks, and everything in between… but every once in a while something shows up that makes the whole shop stop and say, “Okay, that’s awesome.”

We appreciate our customers trusting SDC Automotive with their vehicles, whether it’s something brand new, something classic, something rare, or something they just plain love.

Cool cars are fun. Customer trust is what really matters.

Some jobs are clean and simple.

This does not appear to be one of them.

Whether it’s wrestling with stubborn parts, working upside down, or convincing a vehicle that today is the day it’s going to cooperate, Brett keeps showing up and getting it done.

At SDC Automotive, we appreciate techs like Brett who take on the tough jobs, keep the bays moving, and somehow still make it look like this is totally normal.

Nice work, Brett. The vehicle may be difficult, but you’re more stubborn. 💪

Preston getting this customer’s brakes handled, because stopping is one of those features we’re pretty big fans of. 😂🔧

Brake jobs may not always be flashy, but they’re one of the most important repairs we do. Pads, rotors, calipers, hardware, it all needs to work together so your vehicle stops smooth, straight, and safely.

At SDC Automotive, Preston is making sure this one is ready to roll with confidence.

Because going is fun… but stopping is kind of the whole point. 💪

We’re talking Model A old.

At SDC Automotive, we work on everything from modern daily drivers packed with electronics to vehicles that were built back when “diagnostics” meant listening carefully and hoping the hand crank didn’t fight back.

Old, new, weird, classic, or somewhere in between, we love keeping them rolling.

Another engine repair brought to you by cylinder deactivation… everyone’s favorite fuel-saving mystery feature. 😂🔧

In theory, cylinder deactivation is supposed to help improve fuel economy by shutting down certain cylinders when they’re not needed.

In reality? We keep seeing engines come in with damaged lifters, worn camshafts, bent pushrods, and a repair bill that makes everyone wonder how much fuel we were actually saving here.

This one had some serious internal damage, and the parts tell the story pretty clearly. When these systems fail, they don’t always fail quietly.

At SDC Automotive, we’re not here to argue with the engineers… but we do spend a lot of time cleaning up after some of their “great ideas.” 😂

If your engine has a tick, misfire, rough running, or warning light, don’t ignore it. Catching it early can make a big difference.

Jake is officially at the “is it Friday yet?” stage of the week. 😂🔧

Covered in oil, surrounded by parts, and working through the kind of heat that makes every repair feel like a team-building exercise nobody signed up for.

Some days you’re diagnosing. Some days you’re wrenching. And some days you’re just trying to remember what clean hands felt like.

Hang in there Jake, Friday is coming. Probably. We think.

Kevin finally found an engine bay with enough room to move around, and honestly… he doesn’t know how to act. 😂🔧

Usually auto repair means squeezing your hand past three hoses, two brackets, and one bolt that was clearly installed by someone with the hands of a squirrel.

But this one? Kevin’s got space. Elbow room. Breathing room. Maybe even room to invite a friend.

At SDC Automotive, we’re used to working in tight spots, but we’re definitely not mad when a vehicle gives us a little room to play.

Kevin’s in there living the dream. 💪
