Last week we spent the week in Louisiana training a class for Geoshield, and man we had a week! 🔥
I got thrown into a pretty unique situation at Geoshield Academy, leading an entire class completely on my own, for the first time ever. No previous class to fall back on. No experience running one. Just show up, lead from the front, and get it done.
And that’s exactly what I did.
Watching these students go from having very little experience with window film on Monday to tinting full vehicles by Friday was absolutely insane. The progress was next level, and every single one of them impressed the hell out of me. I’m damn proud of what we accomplished this week.
But I didn’t walk away from this week just as a better trainer. I walked away as a better installer too. Teaching forces you to break down everything you do, understand the WHY behind it, and find better ways to explain and execute it. I gained a ton of knowledge from this experience, and I’m already looking forward to putting it to work.
Big thank you to Geoshield for trusting me with the opportunity and putting me in a position to prove myself.
One class down, definitely not the last. 😤
Already looking forward to getting back to the Academy…
But first we’re going to Ohio for some on sight training 💪
