Turbo solenoid was going bad. Replaced and checked data. Desired position vs actual. Running a lot better now. This involved more than just parts swapping. I had to check all wire connections on the solenoid and sensor to the ecm and verify they were good before I replaced the solenoid. The solenoid cost $250 and up. Could have purchased the solenoid and saved some diagnostic time but if it wouldn't have been the solenoid I would have been back to square one and having to check wires anyway.

BMP caterpillar lift pump on this 08 Duramax, and had to replace fuel rail pressure regulator. BMP pump is a lot cheaper alternative to doing a fass or air dog system.
