This one is special. Very special for all of us at Motoworks. The bikes represent a bit over two years work. The 'moment' actually goes back much further. The culmination of four years of hard work. Classic Motorcycle Day: Hundreds of stunning bikes. Gorgeous weather. Great turn-out. We had five entries. All were customer bikes, one of them seeing his completed machine for the 1st time. All of our entries won Honorable Mention or higher. The BMW class was fairly stacked. We knew we were in the hunt.............Best In Class! Hand shakes and pictures poppin' had us almost miss the final award for the day, Best In Show. No class, no year, just the best bike on the field...............ours! We were, and still are completely floored, speechless, choked up, and VERY proud. We'd like to thank all of the volunteers that make the event possible. All of the attendees. All of the riders that came out to CMD after the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride. And, most of all, our families and amazing customers. Cheers.

A great "real estate opportunity": when one deploys the fantastic EME 'big bundle' (starter/coils/plug wires/450 watt alternator/electronic ignition), there becomes a 'vacant lot', where the diode board once lived. So, what to do? Add some more modernity and safety. The Centech AP-1 offers fused circuits for a myriad of uses (lighing/device-charging/heated gear/etc.) Works a treat. And custom-mounted with vibration-dampening. Ya'll have a great day!

Why do you work so hard?: when a bike that your little company built comes back in for regular service, and the client is thrilled. These feelings are 'soul food'. These moments remind me how profoundly fortunate I am to be doing this work with people that I love and respect. And for customers that understand and appreciate 'what it takes' to deliver on the 'promise' of performance. Ya'll be well.

Reflections on our Daytona Getaway 2026: needing a break from fast-paced motorcycle work, we went to THE place for fast-moving motorcycle excitement. 50 years ago BMW won the Daytona 200 and the first Superbike National Championship. We got to meet those racers/tuners and see those machines powering around the speedway. Time with old friends and new. Great bikes to ride and witness history made: 18 year old, Kayla Yakov became the 1st woman to achieve a Datona 200 podium. 16 year old, Ella Dreher became the youngest rider in Daytona history, and she finished 16th in a field of 42. Kody Kopp became the first rider to win a feature/final in his 750cc class debut. Hats off to all the racers/teams! And a big thank-you to our dear friend and gracious host. Back to Motoworks now and looking forward to a great riding season. Ya'll be well. Peace.

It is all about the relationships. Anything we don't do 'in-house', we have great partnerships performing at our high standards.

Confidence: Asked to make engine-mounting hardware, for a 1948 Cessna 120, and your customer asks if you'd like to 'take a hop' in it? Yes, absolutely! What could possibly go wrong? Cheers.
