Well yesterday was a hard day. After a little over two years finally had to close the doors one last time. While the business certainly had its ups and downs and more downs than ups it was ride full of laughter, fun, pain, sorrow, happiness, anger, frustration and of course and so many life lessons. Made some good decisions and a lot of bad ones. The best part was not the successes but friends and loyal customers/supporters I got meet and know. So goodbye to Varitech Automotive Solutions and hello to next chapter already being written. Updates on the new venture coming soon. Thank you to all of those who supported me in this last one. I hope to see you again on the new one and gain even more friends.

To all my colleagues in the field and just naming a few thank you for your support and guidance. I wish you all continued and growing success. To name only a few (but some if the best out there if you are looking) Crown Auto Repair, Jesse Matthews, Superior Transmission Service, O'Reilly Auto Parts (Mine Rd) Sheehy Auto Group, and just so many more.

Alright Fredericksburg and surrounding peeps. Who is ready for a full access car show and event location that hosts weekly events/shows, offers coffee, hot chocolate and water maybe some food trucks and oh is also a full functioning shop that holds training seminars? Need to see some “likes, loves, thumbs down” whatever so I can gauge my next move.

***Need Responses, to gauge interest****

Ok so I am putting this out there to see how much interest there is in the surrounding communities. I am considering starting Hobby Nights and Weekends for all those who want to learn and/or just work on their own vehicles. The program would consist of hourly rates which would get you access to Lifts, Equipment, Tools, Manuals, and expert assistance. This would be perfect for anyone looking to save to money and get the desired or needed work done if willing to do it themselves with help. All of our normal discount options would still apply. With an added boost to our existing volunteer discount. Thoughts? So I go forward with getting my disclaimers created or is this a waste of time?

Hi my name is Eric and I am the owner of VariTech Automotive Solutions located at 5102 Park Dr. here in Fredericksburg. We are a community engagement business. Meaning we are not only open 11am-11pm or later (M-F, Sat by appointment, hoping to open Sat and Sun as well soon) to help commuters and nightshift workers get their vehicles repaired, we offer discounts for Military, First Responders, Healthcare workers and Educators. But we want our customers to be involved in their communities as well. Therefore we offer $10-$20/hr off our labor rates for each hour our customers volunteer in their communities. Be is coaching, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Churches, Adopt a Stream, etc. A community that works together thrives together. We also offer year round fundraising for schools and organizations. With the recent news of and potentially going on strike. I wanted to share that we are here for those affected. The work may stop and the pay may stop but life continues which means running errands, having expenses, paying bills, sports, clubs, etc for the kids. Here at VariTech Automotive Solutions we want to help. Our slogan is “We are Cooperative Car Care”. What that means we want to promote and encourage community engagement opportunities. So if you are impacted and have car issues. Dont let those repair bills frighten you. We already offer up to 20% discounts on labor for healthcare workers and that means from the CEO to the unit secretaries, nurses, doctors, janitoria staff. But if you volunteer in a healthcare center you too get discounts and the more your volunteer the more you save. So if the strike occurs. Give us a call, send an email or stop by and see how we can help you and even defer some payments to ensure you can provide for your family and not worry about how you will get them places safely, but also not be stressed on what bills to pay. We are currently open from 11am-10pm or later M-F. We can also adjust to help night shift employees and accommodate during their working hours.
