got the car back together running and driving. Now off to the body shop to have the front end put back on. and to have the Motec dash set up with the new engine ecu. we had to have a new wiring harness made and installed but the dash won't talk to the new ECU and will have to be reprogrammed. If it can be updated the can bus protocols may have changed and may have to get a newer dash.

the latest project restoring an older grand am cup car look for it soon at a race track near you. It was a factory-built car in its day and has been in storage for the past ten years. Quicksilver race engines just rebuilt the engine. now my job is to try and get all the boxes of parts to go back in the car having not taken it apart.
