Used hybrid and EV prices are falling, and it’s more than a year-end dip.

New data shows prices dropped faster than other used vehicles in December as clean-vehicle tax incentives wind down and demand cools. With more inventory hitting lots, used hybrids and EVs could stay competitively priced into 2026, giving buyers more leverage.

As incentive-driven demand has bottomed out and supply has been hitting lots, buyers potentially have more negotiating power for hybrids and electric vehicles (EVs).
