"Is sound deadening really worth it?" We hear it all the time, so we tested it. 🔊

This Bronco runs 37" tires, and that is not quiet on the highway. We installed a sound system, added a SoundSkins doors and floors precut template kit, and ran before-and-after tests at idle, 30 mph and 60 mph.

The result: about a 6dB difference with sound deadening vs. without. Less road noise means your system sounds the way it should.

If you've held off on adding a subwoofer to your Wrangler because you didn't want to lose your cargo floor, this one's worth a look.

The Kicker L7T 12" Solo-Baric tailgate-mount enclosure sits flat inside the tailgate. No box in the back and no rearranging your gear every time you load up. Kicker's thin-mount design fits a full 12" square driver into a 9" deep housing, and the square cone gives up to 20% more radiating area than a round sub — which matters a lot when you're running without a roof.

It's roto-molded and weather-resistant, so weather isn't a reason to keep the top on. 300-600W RMS, 2 ohm, and it comes with the mounting hardware and a model-specific install guide.
