Couldn't resist and rescued this 1963 Country Squire wagon. Had help from Andersons old Iron (find them on youtube) it's a big project, but has the look. Eventually it will be on a crown vic chassis. A low and slow cruiser.

I'm still kicking everyone. Been busy moonlighting at a machine shop and acquiring parts. This post is kinda random, but it has cool stuff, a possible next car, and sneak peak of a Scrappy update.

Another one out the door. 70 Fastback heading to it's new owner. This one was a joint venture, so sorry the sale wasn't really public. Don't worry though, I'm sure there will be plenty more.

Scrappys origins. While only parts of this car remained. It has racing heritage. Adds even more to the story. The car in the pictures was rusty an at the time was just a car. It was cut up and luckily some of the parts were saved. It's awesome I get to bring it back, and I will bring it down the drag strip once again.

Credit to Mike Hed for the pictures and stories.
So many other thanks for the help with parts

Flipped Scrappy around to work on the ugly side. Coming along. I'm really happy with the new aftermarket door fit. It was in a parts lot and was even race lightened. Still lots to do, but everyone like progress pics.

Check out last 2 pics for a color spoiler, and look I'm going for.

Happy Thanksgiving to all. Small update on Scrappy the 68 fastback conversion and the 69 Fairlane vert.

I was asked what's the total on Scrappy. I'm at roughly $2200 as it sits. I feel this is a once in a lifetime price. So much has been donated, and deals have been great on parts. Thankyou so much to all that contributed.

Reviving cars can come with all sorts of highs and lows. This 69 Fairlane convertible is coming along. I had thought put the wrong starter in. Nope the starter came apart internally and was sounding rough. Fixed it an had a lifter tick. Well some heat cycles later its running well, and the transmission goes into gear.

Roof skin test fit, rust repair in the trunk floor and rear frame. Decided on a 67 shelby style tail panel. If anyone knows of a regular hood I'd be interested.

More progress. It might not look like much, but the initial rough fitting is done. Now to fine tune all the measurements an prep for welding.

I told guys I'd keep track of money into the car. As it sits there's a tick over $1300 all together. Thus is due to donated parts, trading, and good deals along the way. All I can say is thankyou to all who have helped and supported my cutting up these cars.
