Registration for the Nov. Teen Class will open Thursday @ 6:30 pm.

Students must be a minimum of 14 years old and 9 months on the 1st day of class. You will forfeit your deposit if you are younger and register.

$225 is due on registeration to reserve your seat.
The remaining $300 will be due before we schedule the 8 hours of behind the wheel driving.

The process:

1. Register at franklintondrivingacademy.com Thursday @ 6:30 pm. Pay $225 deposit.

2. Go to the OMV and get the TIP card. We need it by Nov. 12th.

3. Email with more class info is sent out for you to review. (Usually sent once the class is full)

4. Attend 4 days of class

5. End of class on Day 4, pass the exam.

6. If balance is paid, we schedule 8 hours of practice drives. We have 4 months to complete the driving portion. It usually doesn’t take that long.
Students must be at least 15 to participate. We drive the oldest 1st.

7. Complete the 8 hours and earn a Cert. of Completion. 15 and 16 year olds will take the certificate to the OMV and get a Learner’s Permit.
17 year olds are eligible to take a Road Skills Test, and get their License once they pass.

After all the seats are taken, the next teen class will be at the end of December, during Christmas Break.

Next Adult Class is October 31st (9:00am - 4:00 pm)

Go ahead and get your TIP card. You have to have it for class in order to take the exam. If you don’t have your TIP card, you still can take the class, but you’ll have to come back and make up the exam once you have your TIP card..

Class total cost is $430.
$130 of that is required for registration.
The remaining balance must be paid before we schedule the 8 hrs of Behind the Wheel .

Once you’ve completed the 8 hours of driving, you’ll be eligible to take a road skills test ($60).

You will receive a Certificate of Completion for the 14 hour adult course, and a Road SkillsTest Certificate (once you pass).
You will take these to the OMV, and get your full license.

We’re in the process of changing payment processors. They said it should be live next week sometime. As soon as it’s ready, you’ll be able to register for our next teen and adult class.
