❤️ Some evenings entertain you. Others leave an imprint on your heart. Last night was both. 🙏🏼

What an incredible honor it was for our Darrell Waltrip Honda family to be part of the Cars for Cares fundraising event benefiting the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation Foundation!

Thousands of dollars were raised to support pancreatic cancer clinical trials, bringing hope to patients and families facing this devastating disease. 🩵

The evening was made even more special by an unforgettable performance and meet-and-greet with MercyMe, who shared some of their most beloved songs and incredibly moving stories.

One of the most touching parts of the evening was honoring lead singer Bart Millard’s father, who passed away from pancreatic cancer in 1991. A deeply personal reminder of the lives behind this mission and the loved ones whose legacies continue to inspire hope and healing.

Beyond the beautiful music, it was the stories, the generosity, and the band’s unwavering hearts for the Lord that truly moved us. What an incredible reminder of what faith, compassion, and community can accomplish together. 🙌🏼

To the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation, thank you for bringing everyone together for such a thoughtful and meaningful evening, and for your dedication to making a difference in the lives of cancer patients and their families.

We are humbled and grateful to have played even a small part in such an extraordinary night.🙏🏼

If you’ve ever met Greg Schmidt, there’s a good chance you’ve left with a new car, a handwritten thank-you card, a back scratcher with a Bible verse, or at the very least, a joke you didn’t ask for. 🤣
