Since completing the mechanical part of the 57, I’ve been hinting to the owner how much better it would look buffed / polished…. Well he finally agreed to let me do it. Goin into it, we both knew it wouldn’t be perfect, but wow.. what a difference. This car has sat outside on and off for the last 20 ish years. It’s hard to tell in the before photos, but it was so faded it almost was a pink color in spots. This now has one of the better looking driver quality paint jobs I’ve seen in awhile!

This clean 1996 Jeep came to us from another shop, for a no start / no fuel delivery issue, they had installed a new fuel pump, messed with some stuff under the hood, starter, battery etc ..The owner had bought it not running supposedly only needing a fuel pump , and has been missing out on driving it for quite sometime. The Jeep is a manual, and had a remote start wired in earlier in its life, and wasn’t installed the best. I removed the entire remote start system, fixed a bunch of their bad wiring at the ignition / steering column. After that it was wanting to start, but still didn’t have full fuel pressure. I added a secondary ground to the fuel pump , and that did the trick, fuel pump instantly kicked on , supplied correct pressure, and the jeep started right up!

Been super busy in the shop the last couple weeks! Here is couple of the “cool” jobs we had in!

1957 Chevy had been sitting since about 2005, customer inherited the car earlier this year, had a mobile mechanic come out, and start messing with it… and well.. here it is now. New carb, fuel pump, lines , new fuel tank / sending unit , aluminum radiator, new alternator, bleed the brakes, and new tires going on this weekend!

1963 Mercury Comet.. been sitting since 2010 or so, good friend of mine inherited the car, and wants it reliable, and safe! It received a new carb, plugs, wires, cap / rotor, Pertronix ignition, fuel lines, and tank. Next step is 100% brand new braking system, and new tires!! Then this thing will be a daily driver .

Just a couple cooler things we knocked out recently. Dont want to bore you guys with the normal brakes, suspension, etc lol

Let’s welcome Luke Young to the team. With some bigger projects in the shop, and some others already lined up, it was time to bring someone on board. Luke will be helping out part time with everything in the shop big, and small! While he’s not building some cool stuff of his own ( falcon gasser, bagged Galaxie etc etc ) he’s a tech at a local Ford dealer! Bringing him on will help speed up getting your projects done faster, and the ability to bring on more, and bigger projects! I’m very picky about my own work, and take great pride in the work that’s done in the shop, making it extremely hard for me to hire an employee. After seeing his craftsmanship, attention to detail, becoming friends with him, and seeing his values, I feel very confident with bringing him on!!

This clean OBS came in today, to get a little closer to the earth. It already had lowering shackles in the rear, but it still had a slight rake to it. I installed new front drop hangers , and new rear sway bar end link hardware! Truck is sitting exactly where the owner wants it…… for now.

This insanely clean Regal came in with an older sniper1 unit, unfortunately it had an internal short somewhere, and no longer was running. Upgraded him to the Sniper2 system, cleaned up some wiring, and got this rowdy small block running amazing on the new unit! Just need to finish a couple small things tomorrow! Can’t wait to see Doug Evans back on the road!

Some big upgrades on this bad ass 66 mustang! If you remember , this is the car that had some questionable wiring done by a “bigger” local shop (pictured on last slide) . While not wanting to completely rip out 100% , I was able to clean it up much better than what it was. Engine was dressed up with new valve covers, and a new air cleaner. We also upgraded to a EFI style tank, with submerged pump, and new sending unit. Freshened up the whole front suspension, new inner / outer tie rods , new lower control arms, new sway bar links. Of course I couldn’t let the owner drive around on workout shocks / springs, so nothing but the best gets out on in its place. The Mustang now has Viking double adjustable coilovers up front , and Viking double adjustable shocks out back. This thing is going to handle like it’s on rails!

Sometimes is Massimo, sometimes it’s GTO! You never know what you will see in the shop! GTO came in for a new clutch, flywheel, and hydraulic throwout bearing, plus some engine bay touch up. The Massimo mini jeep had maybe, possibly , abruptly came to an immediate stop, and maybe broke the control arm mount off the frame…. Needless to say, both are all fixed, and ready to cruise!

The Lincoln is just about finished up! Need to tidy up some stuff, adjust a few things, and do an oil change, and it will be good to head out!
