FRANKLIN — THE NEST IS SPREADING.

Baseball season may still be ahead of us, but HORNET SEASON starts right now.

We’re bringing Franklin Hornet Baseball straight to the front yards, businesses, porches, camps — anywhere you’re proud to fly that GARNET & GOLD.

And y’all… LOOK AT THESE SIGNS.

4 DESIGNS • $20 EACH • 100% HORNET PRIDE

This is bigger than decorating a yard.

It’s about a town standing behind its kids.
It’s about supporting a program they’re working hard to build.
It’s about letting these young men see that their community is behind them before they ever step onto that field.

So, Franklin, I have a challenge for you:

LET’S MAKE HORNET PRIDE IMPOSSIBLE TO MISS.

I want to drive down the street and see them.

At Grandma’s house.
At the neighbor’s house.
In front of local businesses.
At the homes of alumni.
And absolutely in the yards of the families who will be sitting in those stands when that first pitch is thrown. ⚾️

ONE TOWN. ONE SCHOOL. ONE TEAM. ONE NEST.

⚾️REP THE NEST.
⚾️ BACK THE BOYS.
⚾️FLY THE GARNET & GOLD.

☀️🔧 TAG AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR — LABOR DAY BREAK 🔧☀️

In honor of Labor Day — and because apparently Mother Nature has decided South Louisiana is now somewhere between the Sahara Desert and the surface of the sun — TAG Automotive Repair LLC will be closed Monday, September 7th through Friday, September 11th. And yes, before somebody points it out, y'all already know we're closed on Fridays. 😂 We believe in four long days and one glorious Friday of pretending we don't know what a wrench is. So technically, we're just adding Monday through Thursday to our regularly scheduled Friday disappearance.

We will reopen Monday, September 14th, rested, recharged, and ready to get back to business as usual!

We are incredibly grateful for each and every one of our customers who continues to trust us with your vehicles and support our small business. We truly couldn't do what we do without you.

But we also couldn't do it without our crew. ❤️ Tony and I are blessed with some great technicians who show up every day, turn wrenches, sweat through this ridiculous South Louisiana heat, and help us keep this shop moving. They work hard, and they deserve a little time to rest, cool off, spend time with their families, and enjoy a well-earned break.

Small businesses run on hardworking people — and sometimes hardworking people need to unplug for a few days, too.

So we're taking a little Labor Day breather, and we hope all of you get an opportunity to do the same.

Thank you for your business, your patience, and most of all, your continued support of TAG Automotive Repair.

Have a safe and wonderful Labor Day! 🇺🇸

We'll see y'all Monday, September 14th!

IMPORTANT PAYMENT UPDATE — TAG AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR, LLC

To our valued loyal customers, and those we hope to serve in the future:

We want to make you aware of a change to the payment methods we are able to accept at TAG Automotive Repair.

Effective August 1, 2026, Louisiana Act 751 (SB 254 / La. R.S. 51:3081–3082) prohibits businesses from adding a surcharge when a customer pays with a debit card.

While the new law eliminates our ability to pass that processing cost along on debit transactions, unfortunately, it does not eliminate the fee that our card-processing company charges us to process those transactions.

We have spent time trying to work with our financial/processing company to find a reasonable solution that would allow us to continue accepting debit cards without absorbing those additional costs. Unfortunately, we have not been able to reach a solution that makes that possible.

Therefore, going forward, TAG Automotive Repair, LLC will no longer accept debit cards for transactions where processing the card results in a fee that we are legally prohibited from passing along to the customer.

We understand that some customers may prefer the convenience of using their debit card and may even be willing to voluntarily cover the processing cost. Unfortunately, because Louisiana law now prohibits a business from imposing a surcharge for the use of a debit card, we cannot simply add our 3% processing fee to a debit transaction—even at the customer's request.

We WILL continue to accept:

• Credit cards (our current 3% processing surcharge will apply)
• Cash
• Cashier's checks

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Like so many locally owned small businesses, we are constantly trying to balance the cost of doing business with keeping our prices reasonable for our customers. There is a very real line between making a profit, breaking even, and eventually being unable to keep the doors open. We simply cannot continue absorbing every additional expense placed on the business.

To our loyal customers who continue to choose TAG Automotive Repair — thank you. Without you, there is no TAG, and we never forget that.

To our future customers, we apologize in advance for the inconvenience. And to anyone who chooses not to do business with us because of this change, we certainly understand and are sorry to lose your business.

This isn't a decision we wanted to make; it is simply the decision we have to make in order to operate responsibly under the new law.

Thank you for understanding, thank you for supporting LOCAL SMALL BUSINESS, and as always, thank you for trusting us with your vehicles.
