Last week we prevented one of our valued customers from a 10k+ catastrophic repair!
07 to Current 6.7L Cummins engines are prone to the grid heater nut melting and falling into the intake runner, this results in severe piston, valve, and head damage or total engine failure. We removed the factory intake plenum/grid heater assembly, and upgraded the customer to GDP’s Grid Heater and GDP’s Intake Plenum Plate. While we were in there we installed one of Fleece’s Cheetah 63mm Turbochargers!
