This morning, we knocked out an installation for this 1996 Honda Accord Manual.

We installed this used JVC KD-SR81BT Bluetooth radio and 4 new speakers all around, with proper installation kits and accessories.

Radio: we took out the original radio and installed the JVC radio with the proper dash kit and wiring harness adapter without the need to cut wires, and we cleaned up the wiring with tape. Antenna adapter was not needed.

Front door speakers:
A brand new set of Kenwood KFC-1666S Sport Series 6-1/2 speakers were installed in the front doors with the speaker wiring adapters without the need for cutting wires. Installed in the stock speaker brackets.

Rear Trunk speakers:
We installed a brand new set of Pioneer TS-F6935R in the rear trunk with wiring adapters (same as front) with no need for cutting any wiring. The wiring on the rear speaker was found to have been damaged but we fixed it with car wiring connects and wrapped it up with electrical tape to maintain the clean, original look. We put the original speaker covers back in.

All electronics worked before and after all installation of all 4 speakers, radio. We did find out the driver side window was a bit slow at rolling up, but we notified the customer that it wasn’t an user error on our end, it was that way before we began the work. Customer played music for about 10-15 minutes after the job was finished and there wasn’t any problems found with the sound system. If you plan on tackling the job yourself, save yourself a headache and unhook the battery. We didn’t disconnect the battery, but installation went as planned.

We have posted the speaker color diagram if you own the same kind of car and would like to tackle the job yourself - AND DO NOT CUT THE ORIGINAL RADIO ADAPTER PLUG: spend the extra $10 on the aftermarket radio adapter.

This installation will be the same for all 1994 to 1997 Accord LX, DX, EX 4 door sedan and 2 door coupe models. If you have any questions about this install or need any further information/assistance, dont hesitate to reach out.

Next month on November 1st, 2026, when daylight savings pushes one hour back and if it doesn’t become permanent per law by the US government, we will be operating under our winter hours. Currently we are under the summer hours of 8am to 8pm daily.

Effective November 1st, our new hours would be:
Monday to Saturday 7:00am to 7:00pm
Sundays from 9:00am to 6:00pm. We will begin closing early on Sundays this season at 6:00pm. The winter hours will apply to both, mobile detailing and car audio services. We will go back to our summer / spring hours in March when daylight saving pushes one hour forward. Have a blessed day!

Update #2: 8:10pm 10/4/26. Everything has sold on October 4th!

Update 8:50am 9/27/26. This job unfortunately won’t take place today due to lack of communication on the customers end. We will hold on to the equipment for another 2 weeks. We will update as soon as we get this job rescheduled or if we will offer all audio equipment for sale. The customer has until October 10th to claim his audio equipment before we post them all for sale.

1996 Accord Manual Budget Audio Upgrade Updates:

New Installation date has been confirmed for this Sunday, September 27th. The rear 6x9 car speakers was delivered to us last week, we now have all 4 speakers (2 pairs), this used JVC Bluetooth radio & all necessary installation kits and adapters for installation. This Accord Manual still has all of its stock OEM car speakers and radio so it’ll be very easy to install all aftermarket to this car. Speaker Installation will actually be the same as the other 1996 Accord Automatic that we’ve worked on this past month. We will install all 4 speakers and that jvc radio on Sunday.

Honda Accord Automatic Car Audio Upgrade, Part 2 of 2

This morning, we finished off part 2 of the rear speaker installation for this 1996 Honda Accord Automatic. This vehicle has gotten a fresh set of brand new, budget friendly Pioneer TS-F6935R car speakers installed in the rear trunk this morning. The passenger rear speaker was blown, the rear driver side speaker was missing when we took the speaker covers off. No speaker quick adapters were used, so we connected the speakers straight into the original car speaker harness. This pioneer 6x9’s and the set of Kenwood 6-1/2 speakers we installed two weeks ago in this car are powered by a Sony Bluetooth car radio, so we don’t need a radio for this car at this time. The Sony Bluetooth stereo was installed by the previous owners, and we checked the wiring while we were in here and everything checked out perfectly, everything was wired properly exactly how it should be. You have the option to either reinstall the original speaker covers or use the aftermarket speaker covers that came with the new aftermarket speakers. Per the customer request, they asked us to install the aftermarket speaker covers.

Before and after the speaker installation, All electronics works except for the cigarette lighter and the clock on the dash above the radio, we decided not to mess with them again since we were unsuccessful with attempting to getting them to work two weeks ago when we did the front door speaker install last time. Part two covered the rear speaker installation and this car is officially all done with its audio upgrade and marked off the list.

Kenwood KFC-1666S 6-1/2 Inch Flush Mount Sport series speakers (front doors) - check out part 1 from 2 weeks ago

Pioneer TS-F6935R 6x9 Car Speakers - rear trunk.

Required for installation but not needed; or connect straight to car’s original wiring like we did there. We didn’t have any available on hand, we decided to hardwire these speakers at this job, the same way we did with the front door speakers.

Metra 72-7800 Speaker Wiring Harness

Installation for the 1996 Honda Accord Manual has been confirmed for next Saturday, September 19th.

We will be installing this used JVC KD-SR81BT radio with dash kit and wiring adapter pieces along with the brand new sets of Kenwood KFC-1666S in the front doors as well as the rear trunk speakers

Update #1 10:00 am 9/17/2026: the rear 6x9 Pioneer car speakers, has arrived this past week and will be installed on the same day as the Kenwood and JVC audio equipment.

Update #2 - 9/20/2026 2:35pm: Unfortunately, this 4speaker & radio replacement job did not take place on Saturday, September 19th due to lack of communication on the client’s end, we will announce a new installation date if we ever hear back from them. They have until October 10th, 2026 to reach out to us to claim their audio equipment we’ve ordered for them. After October 10th, we will offer them for sale on our page. We will hang onto the audio equipment for two - three more weeks.

We are fully aware about hackers using AI to steal our photos, using them to claim as their own and scam people, especially with any of our images from the past. We have also seen many situations where scammers/hackers will pressure people to pay electronically via Zelle, PayPal, etc before a job is completed. We are strictly a cash only business and we would never ask someone to pay us anything before a job.

If you see anything suspicious, such as our photos being used in false advertisements in any manner to scam people to steal money, or running into an account pretending to be us, and asking for payment electronically etc, please report that account and contact us right away. 1996 Honda Accord Sedan Manual Updates:

We’ve purchased this used JVC Bluetooth radio from the online retailer last week and was delivered to us a week ago. Next up, we’ve went ahead and ordered 2 sets of car speakers front and back for the car, we will be adding a set of pioneer 6x9 speakers in the rear trunk and we will be also installing a set of Kenwood KFC-1666S 6-1/2 speakers in the front doors, it’ll be the exact same sets we installed in the other 1996 Accord last week and in many other previous vehicles (cheap, budget friendly speakers). We are also waiting on the dash kit and additional speaker wiring adapters that requires no cutting to arrive all in the next 2 to 3 weeks. The items pictured have been reserved for this manual car, and an installation date will soon be confirmed once all audio equipment and installation products have been delivered. This honda car still has all original, OEM radio and speakers so it should be easy to swap out all old OEM equipment to aftermarket.

Update 8:10pm 10/4/26. Everything has sold on October 4th! This car is officially done and marked off the list.

Updates on this 1996 Honda Accord Sedan Automatic:

Last Sunday August 30th, we completed a front door speaker upgrade for this car, replacing the blown out original speakers with these Kenwood KFC-1666S 6-1/2 speakers and up next, to complete the 4 speaker upgrade, we will be installing these 6x9 Pioneer TS-F6935R car speakers in the rear trunk to complete the 4 speaker upgrade. This car already has a Sony Bluetooth radio in the vehicle so there’s no need to upgrade a radio at this time. The pioneer speakers are set to be replaced on Sunday, Sept 13th. We will post the job when completed. After installation, this car will be officially be marked off the list. Stay tuned for more updates. These are just cheap, inexpensive speakers on a budget.

We are currently experiencing delivery delays with USPS, especially during Labor Day, which means your equipment such as a radio, speakers etc that you ordered with us will arrive a little later than the expected delivery date. Delivery for all packages will take 2 to 3 weeks to arrive and we will keep all clients updated on delivery & notify all clients when car equipment arrives to us. We appreciate your understanding.
