As Joe Cocker says “with a little help from my friends“ we are at the point where we can open Wind and Wedge at McGowan Hollow.
This has been an enjoyable build, however, I will say I’m a bit tired.
I have fielded many calls and questions about how this is gonna work. For the first week starting this Tuesday, the course is free. You will need to call the pro shop to schedule a tee time. It is first come first serve. The blocks will be an hour and 45 minutes which should be ample time for 2 to 3 people to play all nine holes. You can bring as many as you want however, if there’s more than three, there’s a chance you may not finish within that hour and 45 minute block. After the introductory week we will begin charging for tee reservations. I’m currently working on software in which people will be able to schedule online. I will let everyone know when that is available. The cost after this introductory week will be $25 per person for one hour and 45 minutes. It can be booked during our normal business hours through this first month, which can be found on our website (thegolf-barn.com). When our software is up and running, the course will run from 8 AM till 11 PM. We have lights and so night play is possible. I encourage feedback and I hope everybody enjoys the short course.
