This right here is why we do multipoint inspections!!!

Not every shop and not every technician/mechanic is trying to "upsell" you anything.

Take for example this 2018 MKC. From the front, from the side and from the top, this tire looks completely fine and has great tread. But what you can't see from ground level is the most inner part of the tire, the spot where the chords are showing due to way too much positive toe.

Also noted during the MPI, the RF strut was bent at the knuckle and causing the RF wheel/tire to have way too much negative camber, which also contributed to the excessive tire wear.

These Michigan roads mixed with this tire wear was a recipe for a tire blow out at any time.

Here at Bubba's (and the dealer for that matter), I take pride in every vehicle that comes through the door. I would NEVER try to upsell you sometbing you don't need. When I inspect your vehicle, you'll know exactly what you need now and what can wait!

Hope everyone is having a great week!

❗️❗️ Look at the filter size difference❗️❗️

The 26 was finally due for it's first oil change. First upgrade to the truck was an Oil Filter Housing Conversion so it can receive a BIG CAT FILTER❗️

Overkill?.....Maybe?

The CAT filter has a lower micron filtration rating, holds an extra quart of oil and flows better when compared to the OE filter.

Straight forward and easy install, longest part was waiting for the oil to stop dripping.

Filled her up with 16 quarts of Signature Series 5W-40.

Welcome to the page if you're new! I am the real Fordtechjcole as seen on Tik Tok. If you see something of me that is not from my personal Page "Justin Cole" or "Bubba's Garage", it's a fake account. There are a few account impersonating me, don't fall for it!

HAPPY SATURDAY!!!

Needed a hand this am checking the ball joints on this 2017 SD. Had my son Declan on the long pry bar. The ball joints are looser then what the video shows, even with the 3' pry bar, he doesn't quite have the strength to get the leverage 😅

Teach your kids all you know so they won't have to rely on others to fix their vehicle!

Here at Bubba's, we are a very small 1 man operation. It's the same person taking your phone calls, diagnosing your vehicle, putting together repair estimates, sourcing parts, repairing your vehicle and greeting you before and after the service work!

In order to provide the best service to you, we sometimes have to spend money for good, quality equipment. When it comes to A/C work, we have that covered. These two Snap On A/C machines have done great to keep our clients HVAC systems working top notch throughout the Summer heat!

We don't always need these machines to just service the A/C system as a standalone repair, sometimes we need them to make other repairs that requires removal of A/C components in order to make other repairs like heater cores, cab removals, engine work etc.

If your vehicle isn't staying cool this Summer and having the windows down just isn't cutting it anymore, inquire within and we can get you fixed up!

Have a great weekend!

It takes 1 single corroded wire to disable an entire vehicle. This 2016 F150 got towed to me for a no crank no start and with every imaginable warning message on the I/C. Manually gained access to the vehicles system, PCM was offline and 60 codes setting in various modules.

After about 45 minutes, I was able to isolate and narrow down the high speed network was essentially open between a connector behind the glove box and PCM. Harness coming out of the firewall near the PCM was rubbing on the passenger fender liner. Rubbed through the tape and rubbed right through the high speed network circuit.

A simple wire repair addressed all the issues! Taped the harness back up and moved out of the way and she's good to roll down the road.

‼️Here's a great example on why we charge for diagnostics/testings from start to finish‼️

A new client brought me their 2009 Impala with repeat EVAP codes. An EVAP purge valve, EVAP vent solenoid and a gas cap were installed by the client, but the EVAP codes kept returning.

I performed my diagnostics and noticed the Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor would never show the system going into a vacuum when performing a Service Bay Test. After further investigation, found the newly installed EVAP purge valve was stuck closed at all times. With the scanner commanding 100% duty cycle on the purge valve, there was no vacuum coming out of it. Verified power at the purge valve with a load test and verified circuit between purge valve and ECM was intact. Replaced the purge valve with an OE one and performed all the testing over again.

Verified the OE purge valve fixed all concerns.

At the end of the day, we don't just diagnose the concern and replace the part. We perform testing before, during and after to ensure our repairs are fixed correctly.

Staying in touch with your clients and being transparent with your diagnostic steps and final outcome gone a long way!
