"What on Earth, is a Paddle Auction?" You ask.

Imagine a raffle with paddles...

Bid Paddles:
Attendees purchase a ticket to the event, which will include dinner AND a paddle.

Items for Auction:
There will be a wide variety of donated items you can win!

Bidding:
Bidders place quarters in a collection bucket in the center of their table for each item they want to bid on - anywhere from $0.25 - $5.00 in quarters will be placed in the bucket, depending on the value of the item up for auction.

Drawing:
After everyone has placed their bids, a numbered ball corresponding to the bid paddles will be drawn.

Winner:
The bidder whose bid paddle number matches the draw wins the item!

Join us for a new and exciting event! Fowlerville Fair Open Class will be joining the Livingston Centre Historical Village at this year’s Fall Fest, where we will be hosting a CRAFT SUPPLY SWAP!

It's time to bring out all those fat quarters you haven't found a project for, all those yarns that have been staring down at you from the stash, and that bucket of beads that you keep tripping over, and all the other arts and crafts items - including books, tools, materials, storage, and more - that are ready to find their new home!

🚗 For those who are ready to part with their surplus supplies now, you can DROP OFF YOUR CRAFT SUPPLY DONATIONS before the swap (by Tuesday, September 8th) at these drop-off locations: Hometown Bicycles LLC of Brighton and Alyssum Patch Quilt Shop of Howell! Please respect these generous drop-off partners by bringing in your donations during their business hours 🕰️

Then be sure to JOIN US AT FALL FEST for our inaugural Craft Supply Swap on September 12th from 10am-4pm at the Fowlerville Family Fairgrounds, where you can fill a bag with craft supplies for a suggested $5 donation 😃🧡🍁❤️🧵

As another Melon Festival draws to a close, we want to thank our amazing community for making this event possible. The Festival is a labor of love each year and we're so thankful to our Howell Recreation staff, volunteers, and amazing community sponsors for making the festival a reality year after year!
