Ever wanted to watch a rocket launch while you camp? 🚀

SpaceX launched Starship's 14th test flight and first attempt to go to orbit from Starbase Texas a few weeks ago, and it was a sight to behold from South Padre Island KOA Holiday. SPI offers a unique experience to campers where they can enjoy the coastal breeze, Texas beaches, and the occasional rocket lift off!

The temperatures are dropping, and our splash pad is officially getting ready for its winter nap! 🍂💦

With the cooler weather rolling in, our splash pad will close for the season on Monday, October 12

But don't pack away those swimsuits just yet! 🏊‍♀️♨️ Our pool and hot tub will remain OPEN, so there's still plenty of time to enjoy a relaxing soak or a little poolside fun!
