Only two more days until the next wave of racers will get to strap in for the first time and rip around the Lightning Speedway!

TWO DAYS AWAY FROM ARRIVE & DRIVE

Saturday, October 3rd Mississippi Thunder Speedway & Lightning Speedway are hosting an Arrive & Drive event! This is a FREE event for all ages! Below are a few notes for anyone that plans on attending Saturday.

- Front gates will be closed. Anyone that plans on attending will need to enter in through the pit gate. All cars can park in the pits by the opening to the Lightning Speedway.
- Pit gate will open at 1:00pm. Event will start at 2:00pm.
- We will have four stations that parents and kids will attend.
1. Race Procedures
2. Track Prep
3. Ownership (Purchasing, Setup & Maintenance of Karts)
4. Safety Equipment
- At 2:00pm we will gather everyone together by the Lightning Speedway and break up into groups. That way each family can get a more personable experience at each station.
- You will be at each station for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes you will rotate to the next station. The last station for everyone will be safety equipment. There we will go over all safety equipment for the karts as well as start getting kids suited up for the fun part. Driving!
- There is no set time for this event to end. We want to make sure all of the kids get plenty of seat time and opportunities to turn laps.
- We will also have pizza, pop and water available for everyone at the main concession stand.

As we wrap up the season at Lightning Speedway, we want to hear directly from our racers, families, and teams.

Tomorrow (Saturday), we will be hosting class specific feedback sessions approximately 90 to 120 minutes before hot laps. We will call each class up by name when it is time to meet.

We want to hear:

✅ What you would like to see improved
✅ Ideas and feedback for the future

Our goal is to listen, learn, and continue making Lightning Speedway better. Your voice matters, and we want everyone to have an opportunity to be heard.
