SATURDAY IS THE NIGHT!!! These 2 outstanding boxers won their brackets and now will box each other to win a spot on the Texas Golden Gloves Team.

Michael Fernandez aka Kid Dynomike has 113 fights and Emmanuel Carrillo Jr is a 7 time USA National Champion so you know it's going to be good.

Regardless of who wins out of these 2 good friends/warriors Fort Worth Golden Gloves will be well represented in the Texas State Golden Gloves.

The finals start at 7pm, Y'ALL DONT WANT TO MISS THIS HOPE TO SEE Y'ALL THERE CHEERING FOR YOUR BOXER!!!

MICHAEL "KID DYNOMIKE" FERNANDEZ!!! Many of our friends on Facebook have seen Michael progress in boxing when he first started.

Michael first came to the Lone Star Spartans Boxing gym when he was 7 years old but you have to be 8 to become a member and be covered by USA Boxing, even though he wasn't 8 he sat there watching and observing everyone train. I knew when he turned 8 because without saying a word he went to the shelves where the boxing gloves were and put them on and started wailing away at the bag for almost 2 hours!!!

Since then Michael has made it to the National Silver Gloves and the National USA Boxing events several times but always came up a little short for being too cautious and waiting too long.

Well Michael has turned 18 and is now old enough to compete in the Men's Elite Division.
This coming Wednesday will be his first bout in this division and in his first ever Elite division he will go against German Lopez who is Fort Worth's 1st Men's National Golden Gloves Champion in over 30 years!!!

Ponce's Transmission has been Michael's sponsor since he started boxing and is trained by Reyes Boxing gym and Junkyard Dog Boxing gym and yes we have the utmost confidence in his ability to compete at this level so come on out to the Golden Gloves event this Wednesday and cheer on your favorite boxer!!!

FORT WORTH RESIDENTS!!! We are starting to shop online more and more which creates more recycling materials (cardboard boxes) and not enough room in our recycling bin. Did you know you are allowed to have 2 recycling bins at no extra charge, also just like your trash bin there are 3 sizes with the 96 gallon size (huge) being the largest which you can also get at no charge. All you have to do is call Waste Management and request them, what are you waiting for call 817-392-1234!!!

Rebuilt our 15 year old truck, all new front end parts by MOOG, new Michelin tires, rebuilt the transmission with all heavy duty parts and a billet torque converter, and had it lettered for advertising, oughta run another 15 years!❤

We rebuilt the Transmission in this work truck for the Fort Worth Transportation Authority (The T) over 17 years ago and it just went out! Not bad for giving them a 2 year warranty. I guess that's why they still use us after all these years. PONCE'S TRANSMISSION is a Veteran owned and run business. Home of the payment plan with O interest!
