CRAWL FAQ

I know someone who would love to go on this crawl. As long as they are dressed in 80's wear. Find Indiana Jones and pick up your 2013 FWDT wristband. How will we know when it’s time to go to the next bar? When you hear themusic, it’s time to start settling up with the bartender and head to the next stop. Bonus points if you thought “I busted a left and I'm heading to the next block” aft

er that last sentence. Will I have access to food on the crawl? Some bars offer standard bar fare and there will be several food trucks at the last stop. What do I need to bring? You must dress 80's and wear your wristband to take advantage of any of the crawl specials. Please bring your ID. Comfortable shoes would be a smart move. Bring some cash or an ATM card to have access to cash. A designated driver or other plans to get home safely. I want to post pictures of the event on Facebook. Do you have a page? Today's the day folks! If anyone needs any ideas on an 80's costume, you are cutting it close but I can help. Just message me.

So for tonight, here are a few things that will help this go smooth:
-Have a plan for getting home safely. Get a DD or call Yellow Cab @ 817.426-6262

-Look for Indiana Jones when you get to the crawl. He's got your wristband. The wristband is what the bars are going to look for in order to get the FWDT special and you have to be dressed in 80's to get it.

-Bring cash or take turns buying rounds for your friends. The wait staff will be real busy and these two techniques will save them some time so they can keep serving us instead of hanging out at the cash register.

-Listen for the megaphone playing 80's music. That means its time to settle up and get ready to go to the next bar. Feel free to sing along!

-Have fun and see you at the crawl!

The 4th and final stop of the 9th Annual FWDT Pub Crawl will be The Gold Standard. We will be here from 10:30-Whenever! The good folks at The Gold Standard have been friends of the FWDT crawl since it was known as 7th Haven. They are located at 2700 W 7th St Fort Worth, TX. There will be food trucks out back to soak up some of your crawl trophies. They are working up something special for us but I don’t have the information yet.

The third stop of the pub crawl has been confirmed. This one was hard. We tried really hard to get in touch with one particular bar and finally had to give up. The third stop will be The Abbey Pub. The Abbey Pub is located in the old Shamrock spot at 2710 W 7th St, Fort Worth, TX. Still working on drink specials but at least we have a place to go!

Compiling list of "lets crawl" songs that I play on the megaphone when its time to move on to the next bar. Any special requests? Only 4 bars so probably only 4 songs will be played. In keeping with the theme it will be 80's music but I'll consider remixes or covers.

The second stop is Reservoir. Reservoir is at 1001 Foch Street Fort Worth, TX 76107. We will arrive around 7:30pm and leave to the third stop by 9:00pm.

I'm still waiting on them to send me the specials but they did verbally confirm that they would be ready for us.

The crawl is less than two weeks away, do you have your 80’s costume? I am announcing the lineup this week. The first stop is Magnolia Motor Lounge. The good folks at Magnolia Motor Lounge are located at 3005 Morton St Fort Worth, TX 76107. The 9th annual FWDT crawl will begin here at 6:00pm. Come on time and get something to eat from their menu. We are here for an hour and a half and will leave to our second stop by 7:30pm.
