After a few phone calls and a whole lot of emails, we were able to help get Erica’s HVAC system added to her recent storm claim. Her insurance company has now approved a brand new HVAC system due to storm-related damage.

A lot of homeowners don’t realize that storm damage can affect more than just the roof. Older HVAC systems can suffer damage from hail and severe weather as well.

After nearly 3 weeks of back-and-forth discussions with State Farm, the original estimate of $7,812.00 was increased to $32,111.00 — the proper amount needed to restore the home back to pre-storm condition.

This is why having someone review the scope of work, documentation, and estimate details matters. Items can easily be overlooked during the initial inspection process, and it’s important to make sure the full scope of storm-related damage is properly evaluated.
