Hiring for a Mechanic in Toledo Ohio for our trucking company Slick Transport.
Looking for an individual with the following skill set:
3 years experience with trucks and trailers.
Must have own tools. Some Basic Tools are provided.
Knowledge of heavy duty mechanical and electrical systems, conveyor systems, forklifts and heavy equipment.
Provide routine and preventative maintenance.
Comply with all DOT rules and regulations as well as all company policies and procedures.
No serious violations on your driving record in the last three years. No more than 2 tickets depending on the tickets and no more than 2 accidents in the last five years.
Pass all DOT required pre-employment screenings.
Possess good communication skills, able to adapt and handle unexpected situations in a professional manner.
Ability to work in areas with exposure to dust, fumes and high noise levels.
Ability to work without assistance.
Efficiently use time management skills
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Physically capable of lifting to 50 pounds, squatting and using equipment necessary for the job being performed.
Must have computer and diagnostic experience.
Hours –
Monday through Friday 0600- 1700 Occasional weekend work when needed.

Overtime after 40 hours.

75.00 Yearly reimbursement for steel toe safety shoes.
