The trucks needed on a construction project can change as the work moves forward.

Crane trucks may be needed to keep equipment working in the field, while water trucks or TMA trucks can become more important as job site conditions change.

Our latest blog looks at how construction truck rental can help organizations build the right fleet mix around each phase of the project.

The Gulf Coast is preparing for Tropical Storm Isaias, which is forecast to strengthen into the first hurricane of the 2026 Atlantic hurricane season before making landfall late Friday into early Saturday.

With the potential for damaging winds, flooding rain, and rapidly changing conditions, now is the time to finalize preparations and stay alert.

Our thoughts are with the families, communities, first responders, and utility crews preparing for the storm.

Stay informed, stay prepared, and most importantly, stay safe.

On Wednesday, we had the privilege of welcoming the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer to PTR.

Members of the Foundation shared the important work the Foundation is doing and the team got to hear powerful stories of cancer survivors.

Together, our employees helped tie 120 pink ribbons for the Foundation's Turn the Town Pink program, which will be displayed throughout Fort Wayne this month in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

We're proud to support such a meaningful cause and grateful for the opportunity to "tie it forward" alongside the Vera Bradley Foundation.

One of the many perks of working at PTR is having full-time health and wellness coaches on staff. From customized workout programs to group fitness classes and wellness events, they help our team prioritize health and well-being year-round.

A few weeks ago, our Fort Wayne team took part in Fort Wayne's annual Fort4Fitness race. Along with earning medals, team members had the chance to connect with coworkers, celebrate their accomplishments and enjoy some friendly camaraderie outside the office.

We work hard, but we also make time to invest in our people, celebrate milestones and enjoy experiences together.

This International Coffee Day, we're celebrating the fuel behind great teams and great work ☕️

To thank our team, we gifted everyone a bag of coffee from Pure Earth Coffee, a local roaster proudly serving the greater Fort Wayne community.

Even better, the connection is personal. Pure Earth was founded by a personal friend of our co-founder, Rob, making this a meaningful way to support a local business while sharing a great cup of coffee with our team.

Here's to strong coffee, strong relationships and celebrating the people who make PTR what it is every day.

What happens at the end of a project can be just as important as how equipment is acquired in the first place.

Owning, leasing and renting each create different decisions when trucks and trailers are no longer needed. Resale responsibilities, lease requirements and rental flexibility can all influence what happens next.

Taking end-of-term considerations into account earlier can help organizations choose an acquisition strategy that better aligns with changing fleet needs.
