Our new Marketing & Creative Administrator, Jordan Krieger, brings more than just a professional history of over 10 years developing creative content, he also adds a fun flavor of entertainment industry nostalgia to his work space at Morgan. A comic book enthusiast, largely indicated by his Batman collectibles, Jordan has just a sample of his figurines and hand assembled souvenirs representing some of Hollywood's classic films and TV series.
"I've been collecting for decades and sometimes find myself traveling to 3 different states in a single day to sort through hobby shops and special events to find just the right addition to my collection," he stated when asked about his assortment represented at the Morgan corporate office. His prior experience in the Automotive industry at a dealership level in service and repair along with a degree in Applied Sciences in Visual Communications from Ivy Tech of Fort Wayne, have made him an integral part of the Corporate Marketing Team.
While the photos only show a tiny representation of his total hobby, he boasts of having original release figurines from the 1980s of Optimus Prime (Transformers) and Heman. Some of the figurines like the Gremlins shown in one of the photos here, are based on entire series of collectibles for a particular brand or character. For example, the Heman series involves multiple releases and groupings that number in the hundreds. In addition, Jordan doesn't just buy one, because what's the fun in collecting if you have to leave it in the original packaging and not be able to put it on display. He buys doubles. One to display outside the package and one to keep treasured and sealed to preserve its long term value. When it comes to the cost of his collection of thousands of keepsakes, he says his wife just rolls her eyes.
Since joining the Morgan family, Jordan has helped improve the creative eye needed for marketing collateral and making the assets needed for promotions and digital visuals a lot more efficient. The marketing department is quickly developing a repository of digital files for use by customers and also planning an entire relaunch of its online presence in the Fall of 2025.
