I forgot to take photos of the before, but these wheels came in with extreme curb rash along the outer lip, standard rash across the face, and damage along several spokes.

What you’re seeing here is the result of a long and thorough process, which included:

• Reconditioning and resurfacing all damaged areas
• Completely scuffing every inch of the wheel — including tight areas between spokes
• Multiple wipe-downs with wax and grease remover
• Tack-clothing the wheel before coating
• Applying a two-step DTM primer
• Allowing proper cure time
• Sanding the primer and addressing overspray
• Another careful wax and grease remover wipe-down
• Final tack cloth
• Applying jet black paint
• Finishing with a 2K clear coat with a matte additive

Over the next 48–72 hours, the clear coat will continue to die back and settle, revealing the final flat finish they’re keeping. This curing time is part of the process and allows the finish to fully set before the wheels are back on the road.
