Looking Back at the Pathfinder 2800 at the Miami Boat Show

Looking back at the Miami Boat Show and one of the little details that really caught my eye on the new Pathfinder Boats 2800 was the updated logo. I’m a bit of an attention-to-detail guy, and this new matte gray finish really stands out.

In the past we’ve seen the chrome style logos, which look great but can sometimes be hard to see from a distance. This new look has a clean matte finish that pops and gives the boat a really classy feel.

It’s a simple change, but it’s those small details that make a big difference. Pathfinder has always done a great job paying attention to the little things, and I think this one is going to be a big hit.

Looking back at the Miami International Boat Show, I had the chance to spend some time aboard the Pathfinder Boats 2800 Hybrid, and it definitely left an impression.

At its core, the 2800 Hybrid is built around twin-engine performance and an advanced double-stepped hull designed to deliver serious speed, stability, and efficiency without compromise. It’s the kind of platform that lets you stretch your legs when you want to run, while still keeping the versatility Pathfinder is known for.

After seeing it up close, it’s easy to understand why this boat had so many people talking at the show.

Pathfinder 2800 Hybrid Walkthrough

Looking back at some time spent at the Miami Boat Show, I had the chance to walk through the new Pathfinder Boats 2800 Hybrid and really take in what this boat is all about.

Standing in the aft, you start to see how well thought out the layout is. Plenty of livewell options, fold-down seating, and a wide open aft casting deck—but let’s be honest, the real conversation starts with the power.

Twin 350s on jack plates. I was hearing this boat could flirt with 70 mph, which means those long runs just got a whole lot shorter. Paired up with Yamaha 350s, it’s an unbelievable matchup and a huge step forward for the Pathfinder lineup.

I’ve been with Pathfinder for over 20 years, and seeing this option added from the 2200 all the way up to the 2800 Hybrid is a big deal. This boat checks the boxes for anglers who want to stretch their legs offshore and still bring the family along—cushions up front, jump seats in the back, and comfort everywhere you look.
