So a customer of mine found a 355 sbc built by don garlits a long time ago (guessing back in the early 90’s) so we’re reviving this engine for his mega truck, technology has come a long way since then so we’ve updated the heads with a nice set of AFR’s, cam motion camshaft set up to match up perfectly with the 671 blower and dual 750cfm custom carter carbs that don garlits built for it and the built turbo 400 it’s going to be mated too, updated all the important hardware with ARP to help keep the forged rotating assembly together at 7000 rpm should be around 750-800hp all said and done

Trying to repair a 1983 843 bobcat valve body, unfortunately bobcat no longer has parts available to rebuild this activity trying to hunt down all the o-rings and pressure relief valves if anyone has any tips for me would be greatly appreciated thanks 👍🏻

Hey everyone I lost my business phone on a call the other night, luckily I have all the contacts I saved into the phone but unfortunately a lot of y’all weren’t saved contacts. I also lost all text messages so there’s quite a few people that did get written down in the schedule book. Not only that there’s been a lot of personal things going on that forced me to slow down there for a couple months. If I forgot to get back to you during that time I apologize, everything is back to normal business wise and is ramping back up. I have a ton of pictures I need to post up here when I get a second of some really cool jobs I’ve done since I’ve last posted so those will be up here shortly!

Night time repair, 2005 Ford Explorer thermostat housing failure. Just a reminder, I don’t care what shop you use, check your vehicle out when getting it back! This vehicle was being serviced by a big franchise everyone would recognize as reputable and came to me missing an air filter with the wrong air box housing at that.

More on the 2005 6.0 powerstroke. Fuel system was sucking air due to the pick up foot being loose and the by-pass valve disintegrating. The by-pass valve on the side of the pick up is there in case the pick up screen gets clogged the vaccume from the fuel pump will pull it open and allow fuel flow. If it is damaged you will start sucking air when the tank gets below 1/8th if a tank. The fix for this is to take the pick up tube foot and secure it to the pick up tube with a hose clamp and block the valve with an oil/gas resistant silicone. If there's so much gunk in the tank the pick-up gets clogged you definitely don't want un-strained fuel coming through that valve and into the fuel system.

2005 f350 6.0 powerstroke hard start issue fixed due to fuel pressure bleeding off after shut down. Alternator was going out as well. All fixed up and ready to go to work! The 6.0 powerstroke is the engine that really started it all when I was a teenager. My dad had one he was going to let get repo'd because no one could figure out the no start issue. I did a ton of research and learned all about the pit falls of these engines and how the injection system worked. Turned out it was a $50 STC high pressue oil fitting on the pump that blew an o-ring. Whole top end of the engine had to come apart he went to work one day I ordered the part and when he came home I had his truck completely torn apart in the barn almost giving him a heart attack as I was 15 at the time. Put it all back together and she fired right up. He eventually sold it to me where I pulled the cab off and turned the red headed step chilled 6.0 everyone says is so unreliable and built the engine one time and never had another issue until I wrecked it at 350,000 miles later at 450,000 miles.
