Wow! Generally, this time of year charters start slowing down but we are booked out through July! It's a good problem to "complain" about.
We had to make time on Father's Day for our own family to go snapper fishing. My husband (Capt Rich) is a man like no other. He had a dream and built this business from scratch. Over the years, he's felt the brunt of all business owners. I watched him help other captains and believe in them when nobody else would. In return, I've also witnessed people steal, take advantage, verbally attack, and harass him. I guess that is the price that comes with trying to help others who don't want or appreciate it.
Despite it all, my husband's character is what has carried this business successfully. He's never wavered from teaching our children through example -- honesty, integrity and hard work pays off. His character is what carries this business, as well as our family and future. Of course, we couldn't have done it without our wonderful team. Capt Derek and Kenny are rocking it, and Capt Ryan is the family we never knew we needed until he came into our lives almost two decades ago. Words can't describe how thankful we are for all of their devotion.
The proof is in the pudding. Our new and returning customers love us all the same. Even the very few 1-star reviews have only helped drive MORE business our way! That's dedication 💪🏼
My post is a little late for Father's Day, but in our house every day is a day to celebrate the man behind Luck o' The Irish and the backbone of our family.
Help me show Capt Rich some love with a like and comment of your favorite memory with him!!
