👋Have you guys ever seen this??

Had a customer throw the kitchen sink at his vehicle. Tried as best he could to figure out his issue. From what he said he basically had the entire coolant system replaced... But looking it showed a different story.

He had a "chemical science experiment" happen to his coolant system. Someone in the past mixed dexcool with standard radiator coolant...

👉👉Built FORD Tough!! 💪💪💪

Sometimes it's the little things in life that help us go around. Well working on this bronco 2 it brought back some memories of going off roading with my friends up north!

☝️ This customer gave me a shout to see what I could do for them on this little bronco. Being that it's dang near 40 years old, we can't just hook a scanner up to it and have the computer tell us what's going on with it. Gotta have our wits on this one!! 😆

⌚ After a minute of having the truck run, I had found his idle air control valve causing the brunt of his problems, but also his "factory" throttle position sensor connector didn't help his idling problem either. Let the customer know his problems and he went and installed a new valve.

The one question that is always asked is

🗣️"Do you remember where you were?"

I remember very clearly sitting in the library at my grade school around one TV watching. The entire school shut down and everyone was in there just watching. Trying to understand what we were seeing. Today was the day that in my life the world stopped for a minute.

So today remember what we had to do as people, with uniting and being there for each other in a great time of need!

👀 So look at this... 😳

Customer reached out last week on this van having an issue with her transmission. When I had gotten there I didn't expect to get thrown into what this van was needing. From leaking fluids, to way past due tire replacements and brakes...

👉We found that she had a slight transmission leak and had recently purchased it from someone who apparently was a mechanic...🫠🫠😐😐

Well after addressing the transmission I found that this van was needing much more work. So next step was addressing the GRINDING brakes.

👉👉So tell me this...

🤔 Here's the question,

"What's the most mileage seen on a vehicle?"

200 thousand? 300 thousand?? This customer has had this truck for years. Was a supervisor at a building construction company and this was his personal/company vehicle. Has loaded the bed up with materials for job sights and taken it hunting to load up a buck or two in the bed.

😲 So I got the actual scoop on the truck, he's replaced the engine, transmission and rear end within the last 100k miles. Told me if he needed to take it to Miami right now he wouldn't doubt it's reliability!

So with maintaining it, this truck has given him countless mileage.
