As we head into Memorial Day, we join our community in remembering the heroes who served and sacrificed for the nation we call home. We are grateful for every life dedicated to protecting our freedoms, and we honor their memory today and always.

📣 Farewell to the penny! 🪙
After 238 years of jingling in our pockets, the penny has officially been retired. The U.S. Mint announced it will no longer produce one‑cent coins, since each penny costs nearly 3.7 cents to make and taxpayers were spending millions every year just to keep them in circulation.
Canada made this move over a decade ago, and now it’s our turn. Transactions will simply be rounded to the nearest nickel when paying with cash, while electronic payments remain unchanged .
It’s the end of an era for Abraham Lincoln’s copper coin — a symbol of thrift, luck, and countless coin jars across America. 💰🍀
