🛑Yield strength matters. 🛑
If you are towing or hauling with cheap cast aluminum adapters, you are riding on a ticking time bomb.
Let’s talk about the actual physics of holding weight.
Not all metals are created equal under a heavy payload:
1. Cast Aluminum (The Danger Zone): Most cheap market adapters are cast. This means molten aluminum is poured into a mold. It leaves microscopic air pockets inside. Under heavy stress, heat, or a bad pothole, cast aluminum doesn't bend, it snaps instantly.

2. Billet Aluminum: Better than cast, but still lacks the fatigue resistance needed for extreme dually or heavy HD truck weight over long periods.

3. Cast Steel: Stronger than aluminum, but casting still leaves the metal brittle under immense shock loads.

4. Forged & Machined American Steel (Our Standard): We machine our adapters in-house from solid, dense American steel. The grain structure of our steel is tight and continuous. It delivers a massive yield strength advantage, easily handling high-torque towing, heavy payloads, and severe vibrations without cracking.

When you’re pulling a heavy trailer down the highway at 70 MPH or with your family and loved ones in the cab, shear strength isn't optional. It’s what keeps your wheels attached to your truck.
