Increasing the coolant flow area to allow better volume of coolant to flow through engine and lessen likelihood of overheating. First pic is standard and second is in process, will be matching head gasket to maximize and doing the same on the heads.

What started out as just a frame swap is turning out to be a major undertaking..finished up doing new bearings, oil pump...

What started out as just a frame swap is turning out to be a major undertaking..finished up doing new bearings, oil pump and chain, timing cover gasket, water pump, recon heads, rear main and oil galley plugs, intake and valve covers were looking a little old so just painted em black, looks good, underbody was in good shape but decided to pressure wash it while the frame assy was down, professional grade undercoating to keep noise and temps down a bit, will be cavity waxing body cavities (keep your mind out of the gutter guys) and internal of the frame. Touched up and painted the frame as nec also..new engine and trans mounts etc etc etc...will be a super nice truck when finished, low mile truck that we completely pulled apart and had repainted in the new Toyota Tundra green...looks sharp..
