Did a final buff on the 67 Nova wagon and painted interior panels and steering wheel for it this week before it goes for upholstery along with painting the last three pieces for the 41 Ford truck.

Jeri and I had a fun weekend at the Goodguys Rod Custom Association 27th Griots Grarage Colorado Nationals last week. Congratulations to our customers Tony and Missy Onstot, who received a Builders Choice Top 10 award presented by Pinkees Rod Shop with their "Cement" colored 1972 Nova that we did final bodywork and paint on after having all the metalwork performed by Justin Montgomery of Gummy's Garage. We raced Autocross Friday and Saturday and finished 4th in the Pro Class time trials which qualified us for "The Western States Shootout" ,where we lost to our friend Karen Leisinger in the first round who was very fast this weekend. Thanks to all the Goodguys crew for a fun show!

Long term 1941 Ford truck project finally made it to the paint booth this week. This one has been a collaborative effort with metalwork by Justin Montgomery of Gummy's Garage . Then bodywork and primer was completed by Jamie Ziegler of Zigs Body and Paint. I was asked to do the final sanding and paint along with mixing a one off custom color.

GTO wheel paint project this week getting ready for GTO Nationals. These factory correct 14x6 Rally II wheels came to me bead blasted ready for primer. Epoxy primered first then the silver base applied. After drying the silver was masked so the dark gray could be sprayed. All tape was removed and clear coat applied.

Recently replaced all the broken OEM rubber bumper filler panels on this beautiful 1975 Original paint 51,000 mile Buick Century with fiberglass replacement parts. It was a very challenging project as the new parts had to be cut apart and remolded to fit the body. After bodywork and paint it turned out better than I could've hoped for.

It's been an amazing year so far for our customers. This past weekend Tony and Missy Onstot with their 1966 Chevy Nova SS L79 ,won the Muscle Car of the Year Finalist at the Goodguys 33rd Speedway Heartland Nationals. We take great pride in the cars we build and it's very gratifying to have them chosen for such prestigious awards ! Thanks Goodguys Rod & Custom Association.
