💙More than an oil change 🚗

Thanks to the generosity of Community Auto, Project Self-Sufficiency participants received free oil changes and vehicle safety inspections during Community CARes Day.

For the single parents we serve, reliable transportation helps make employment, education, childcare, and everyday family responsibilities possible. One participant shared:

"My poor car is trying to get me through nursing school. This oil change was the best gift. It reminded me that my overworked car needs attention and care too."

Sometimes, a little help keeping a car on the road can help keep a goal within reach.

Helping Project Self-Sufficiency families move toward brighter futures. Thank you, Community Auto, for helping make that journey possible.

As the smoke has rolled in and out over the last few weeks it is a constant reminder to be conscious of what we are breathing in. So check your cabin air filters. Both shown here but not the replaced for a couple years wasn't the smoke it was many other things.
